Everything below matches what you’ll actually see at checkout — zones, cutoffs and pricing.
Where we ship
We ship to the 48 contiguous United States. Because our products are perishable, we can’t currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or other US territories, and we can’t deliver to PO boxes, APO/FPO addresses, or parcel lockers — a valid physical street address is required. Please double-check your address at checkout; we aren’t responsible for delays caused by an incorrect or incomplete address.
Processing days and cutoff
Most orders ship out the next day, Monday through Thursday. Nothing ships on a Friday, so a chilled order never sits in a depot over the weekend.
- Cutoff — orders placed before 11am ET Monday through Thursday are processed that day. Orders placed after 11am ET are processed the next day.
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders are processed the following Monday.
- PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, VA, CT — delivered within 1 business day of shipping.
- Everywhere else in the lower 48 — the same processing days apply, with delivery in 2 business days using UPS 2nd Day Air.
Your confirmation email states the actual ship and arrival date, not just a window.
Shipping cost
Shipping cost is calculated live by UPS at checkout, based on your delivery address and the weight of your order, so you always see the exact price before you pay. PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, VA and CT can choose UPS Ground or a faster guaranteed service; everywhere else in the lower 48 defaults to UPS 2nd Day Air, with faster guaranteed options also available. Local pickup at our Fairgrounds Farmers Market stand is always free.
Local pickup
Pickup is available Thursday and Friday 1pm to 6pm, and Saturday 10am to 3pm, at the Fairgrounds Farmers Market in Reading, PA. Pickup is always free.
- Ready the next day — we pack every order in its own box. Orders placed before 11am ET Monday through Thursday are processed that day and are ready for pickup from the next market day. Orders placed after 11am ET, or on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday, are processed the next Monday to Thursday processing day.
- Choose your day — at checkout you pick your pickup date, Thursday, Friday or Saturday. Your confirmation email repeats it. Please bring your order number.
- Bakery — our bread is baked fresh for the following week. Order any day, Monday to Sunday, and collect it Thursday to Saturday of the next week. Bakery items are pickup only.
How we pack
Orders are hand-packed in insulated boxes with gel packs to hold temperature in transit. Your order may arrive chilled or partially thawed but should still be cool to the touch — refrigerate it as soon as it arrives. Most items keep 7 to 10 days refrigerated unless the packaging says otherwise.
Tracking and delivery issues
You’ll get a confirmation email with tracking once your order ships. If anything arrives incomplete, damaged, or fully thawed, contact us at info@mediterraneanmedley.com right away so we can make it right.
