What it actually does
The numbers are on the pack
No wellness language. Protein, fibre, sodium and calories sit next to the price on every product, read straight off the label. The Mediterranean diet is a pattern of eating, and you can only follow it if you can see what you are eating.
Seven to ten days
Buy on Wednesday, still good the following week. Fresh food that keeps is fresh food you actually eat instead of throw away, which is the real cost of everything else in the chilled aisle. Bakery is shorter, and we say so.
Priced like a shop, not a service
A tub of hummus is $4.75 and a sandwich is $6.25. The meal-kit companies charge $13 to $18 a serving on a subscription. We are a market stand that ships, and the price says so.

We quote your exact UPS cost at checkout, based on your address and the weight of your order, so there is never a guess. Choose UPS Ground for the best price, or a faster guaranteed service if you need it sooner. Pickup at the stand is always free.
Next day to eight states
PA, NJ, NY, DE, MD, DC, VA and CT usually arrive the next business day. Everywhere else in the lower 48 is two days. You see which one you are before you pay, not buried in the terms.
Dispatched Monday to Thursday
Order by 11am ET and it goes out the same day. Nothing ships on a Friday, because a chilled box that sits in a depot over a weekend is not food we want you to open. Pickup runs Thursday to Saturday.
Fresh food, so no returns
Every box goes out insulated with gel packs. Because it is perishable we cannot take returns, and we would rather you knew that before checkout than after. If something arrives wrong, tell us and we will make it right.

About the stand
A market stand doing real food, honestly.
Three days a week we set up at the Fairgrounds Farmers Market in Reading. Everything on this site is made fresh daily, to recipes rooted in Lebanese and Mediterranean home cooking: chickpeas, olive oil, lemon, parsley, bulgur, grape leaves. Nothing on the list is there because it had a good margin.
We read every label before a product gets our name beside it. That is why the protein, fibre and allergens sit on every page here, and why we will not call something gluten free when the label does not. If we are asking you to buy food from a stand you have never stood at, showing you exactly what is in it is the least we owe you.
